Plate Piece 1

Thus is the tale of a great battle at Garranto.

Before they could do battle, the dragon’s bones were turned to ash by a vile necromancer, Aeschylus, who then stood upon her wretched corpse crying allowed in triumph.

The lowly dwarf was in turn struck down by the bodyguards of great queen Aki: called once the Shogun of the east.

The loyal dead, firstborn of Volomaga, Inat, adjusted his formation slightly, moving to his right (that is to say due west).

Inat however, was not the one being trapped, in the chaos of the battle, he moved to flank Zamora, being himself guarded by his late emperor’s staunch soldiers.

The lonely footmen left danger, advancing further south.  Now moving faster, they threatened the foul knight.
