Pholtan Cults

Pholtan cults (even the orthodox beliefs are called cults) follow the following naming convention: Pholtus of the X (and possibly Y) Pholtus of the Blinding Light Pholtus of the Artificial Light Pholtus of the Last Light (I know the first two are Orthodox, and I think Last Light is as well. I'll double check with Brian when he gets up. Only the first two were featured prominently in Nameless Roads and Markless Banners)

of these, Pholtus of the Wandering Light, and Pholtus of Light and Shadow are the ones you need to know about.

Both of these are heresies brought over to this universe by interdimensional wanderers (which happens from time to time in this setting. Usually by falling to the Ring in giant pillars of obsidian whose origin is as of yet unknown).

The three guys we're dungeon delving with are cultists of the Wandering Light: A cleric, ranger, and paladin. They're arch enemies with the Pholtans of Light and Shadow, who are working with the Deepwood Veil
