Wendel the Eighth

A warforged Pholtan of the Wandering Light, specifically, a ranger of Pholtus’ swiftness. Wendel is a Pholtan from distant lands who landed on the Ring at the Field of Falling Stars. After wandering for a time, he became trapped in the Dreamwaste and temporarily fell to despair and madness as his connection to Pholtus was partially suppressed. Wendel’s story before TDW is complicated but the party recruited him after rescuing him from the nightmare. Like all Pholtans of the Wandering Light, Wendel is a bag of contradictions: finicky but loyal to his companions, motivated by wealth but generous, set in his ways yet always looking for a new adventure, quick to forgive some but eternally vengeful toward others. Generally speaking though, he’s an energetic roguish sort who cracks bad jokes and is easy to hype up.
