Backstory

Polaris was hatched and raised in the Grand Dutch of Rez by his mother, Biri of Clan Gidatzea and his step-father, Shedinn of Clan Myastan. He has one half-sister named Akra of Clan Myastan. Polaris' half-sister, is 5 years younger than him.

When he was only two or three, Biri, married Shedinn. It was less of a scandal to Shedinn who absolutely adored Polaris. Polaris thinks highly of his step-father and rarely would call him step-father over just dad. The only other family members that Polaris would have been close to were his 10 maternal uncles of the Gidatzea Clan.

When Polaris was old enough, he join the Military Academy of Rez and became a a rather good student. He served in the army after graduating, though rarely getting to see action in a war, he was no stranger to battle.

That all came to a head when Polaris found himself in another scandal. His charming personality caught the attention of a minor noble, a silver dragonborn named Rhogar of Clan Delmirev. When the two of them were caught sharing a bed, Rhogar threw Polaris onto the sword and besmirched his name. This caused Polaris to lose standing and to be dishonorably discharged from the army.

Rather than bring more shame to his mother, father, sister and clan, Polaris left Rez and traveled to Drotingdomr to become a mercenary there. He has not tried to contact his familiy since the start of The Deepwood War.

Relationships

Polaris has been assisted and rescued by Ezra on numerous occasions. He believes he found a good friend in Ezra.

Ezra is a noble and this makes Polaris nervous.

Ayxan is a noble and this makes Polaris nervous.

Polaris thinks that Vayle is a coward when ever she hides in the corner of a fight.

Ayxan and Polaris have spent a lot of time together, talking about the books that Ayxan has written. They get along well enough.

Polaris did not like that Ayxan cut the bridge during the dream wastes adventure. It was not kind of him.

One time Vayle did a bayonet charge and Polaris was so proud of her.

Polaris is absolutely pissed that Vayle and Ezra made a deal with a devil. And will duel Ezra for the soul of the innocent that he promised.
