Chitra

A lunar moth cleric of Pholtus’ swiftness. Chitra’s past is shrouded in mystery, as is her entire species. She wields the same power of the Wardens of Pholtus, drawing her magic though a sapient casting focus which in turn channels the power of Pholtus though his grand temple in distant space. She does not however worship the god of light, but rather tithes to her high-priestess queen and great grandmother whose name is not currently known. Her philosophy states that Pholtus is merely a name given to the face of the power of light and is not worthy of worship any more than his temple. Chitra is wickedly clever, utterly merciless, and loyal to nothing but the higher powers. She is, however, a betrayer of opportunity rather than a serial backstabber. The party summoned her using the “Guest Chamber” after accidentally calling her in Operation “Crystal Vanguard” (Opp#18). A deal has been struck between Chitra and the party, with her promising powerful magic to defeat the Pholtans of Light and Shadow in return for the party capturing one of her distant cousins who defected to the cause of humanity.
